Dauny Etoile Superlight Silk Duvet – Luxurious Lightness for Every Season

The Etoile Superlight duvet is a silk duvet of outstanding quality, designed to offer a uniquely soft and soothing sleeping experience. The filling consists of 100% premium long-fiber mulberry silk – the finest silk available. This mulberry silk is carefully handcrafted into an airy, ultra-light silk fleece, then encased in an exceptionally fine Swiss batiste. The result is a duvet that is incredibly soft, breathable, and elegant. Perfect as an all-season duvet, it is praised for its featherlight feel, smooth drape, and naturally calming comfort. Each piece is lovingly handmade at the Dauny factory in Switzerland.

Why Silk?

Silk is a natural fiber produced by certain insects, most famously the silkworm – the larva of a moth species – which spins a cocoon from a continuous silk thread. Mulberry silk is regarded as the highest quality silk because it comes from silkworms that feed exclusively on mulberry leaves. This creates a pearl-white, long, and lustrous fiber, celebrated for its shine, suppleness, and luxuriously soft touch.

Care Instructions

To maintain its premium quality, shake your Etoile Superlight duvet daily. It can be washed at 30°C on a wool program, provided your washing machine is spacious enough for the duvet to move freely. It may be spin-dried at high speed. After washing, dry it briefly in a tumble dryer for just 2–3 minutes (or use the Finish Wool setting), then let it air dry carefully – avoid direct sunlight. To protect the silk and extend its lifespan, we recommend using a special silk detergent. With your purchase, you’ll receive a free trial bottle.
