The Etoile Medium duvet is a silk duvet of exceptional quality, offering a truly special and soothing sleeping experience. Its filling consists of 100% premium long-fiber mulberry silk – the finest silk available. This mulberry silk is carefully handcrafted into a light and airy silk fleece, then encased in an exquisitely fine Swiss batiste. The result is a duvet that feels incredibly soft, breathable, and weightless. Perfect as an all-season duvet, it is known for its lightness, suppleness, and the calming comfort it provides. Each piece is handcrafted with care at the Dauny factory in Switzerland.

Why Silk?

Silk is a natural substance produced by certain insects, most famously the silkworm – the larva of a moth species – which spins a cocoon from the fine silk thread. Mulberry silk, the highest quality silk, comes from silkworms that feed exclusively on mulberry leaves. This results in a pearl-white fiber of outstanding purity, prized for its natural sheen, smoothness, and durability.

Care Instructions

To maintain its excellent quality, shake your Etoile Medium duvet daily. The duvet can be washed at 30°C on a wool cycle, provided your washing machine has sufficient capacity to allow the duvet to move freely. It may be spin-dried at high speed. After washing, dry it in a tumble dryer for only 2–3 minutes (or use the Finish Wool program), then let it air dry carefully – avoid direct sunlight. To preserve the quality, we recommend using a special silk detergent. With your purchase, you will receive a free trial bottle.
