TENCEL™ Lyocell is produced from renewable wood sources and is fully biodegradable. The wood is sourced exclusively from certified, sustainably managed forests, following the strict guidelines of the Lenzing wood and pulp policy.

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are highly sustainable due to their eco-friendly closed-loop production process. With high resource efficiency and low environmental impact, the wood pulp is transformed into cellulose fibers. The solvents used in the spinning process are recovered up to 99% and reused.

All standard TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are certified biodegradable and compostable under industrial, household, soil, and marine conditions, allowing them to return fully to nature.
